NJ restaurant that banned kids has change of heart
Well, that didn’t take long. Just a few days ago I wrote about a new restaurant that opened in Franklin Park, New Jersey that was banning kinds under 10 after 4 p.m. The Indian fusion restaurant called Andaaz was trying to have a more upscale vibe. In addition to them starting off with a ban on children under 10 years old for dinner hours they also keep a dress code which is meticulously spelled out on their website. Livingston Police Investigate Residential Burglary on Driftwood Drive
LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating a home burglary on Driftwood Drive that was reported to Livingston police at approximately 7:17 p.m. on Driftwood Drive. Rachel Minaya, the wife of Yankees executive Omar Minaya, has died. Authorities found the Rachel deceased at their home in New Jersey on Saturday. According to the New York Post, Omar wasn't home at the time when his wife died. It's unclear at this point who discovered Rachel and what exactly that caused her death. A person close to the Minaya family said that authorities have ruled out suicide as a cause of death. Still, her death came quite suddenly and as a shock to the entire family.

Newark PD Reports Gunpoint Robbery and Assault at Dollar General
On Sunday, July 21, a Dollar General store located in Newark fell victim to an armed robbery, as per the authorities. According to Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé, a man walked into Dollar General at 420 Springfield Avenue at 8:29 a.m. through the rear entrance on the right side. The perpetrator then proceeded to demand cash from the cashier, while gesturing that he had a handgun. In the process, he also assaulted the employee on her left side.
