‘Whole new level’: Taylor Center to be hub for semiconductors, latest technology
TAYLOR, Texas (KXAN) — Taylor will soon have a new hub for technology training — and it will be just about a mile away from Taylor’s Samsung semiconductor facility. The future University of Texas at Austin – Taylor Center will focus on training and research in the semiconductor field. The nearly 70 acres is located next to Taylor High School off Highway 79.
Man dies after pursuit with Killeen police
KILLEEN, Texas (FOX 44) – A man is dead after a pursuit involving the Killeen Police Department comes to an end. Killeen Police officers initiated a traffic stop near E Stan Schlueter Loop and E Elms Road at approximately 9:47 p.m. Wednesday for a traffic violation on a Chevrolet Cruze. The driver refused to stop, leading officers on a pursuit.
Killeen police seek public's help in locating missing man
KILLEEN, Texas — Detectives are asking for assistance in locating a missing person, Joseph Primeaux, who was last seen leaving his workplace. Primeaux, a 35-year-old, was last seen in the 1100 block of WS Young Drive. He is described as 5'9" and 140 lbs, and was wearing a white shirt and black pants at the time of his disappearance, according to the Killeen Police Department.
