LITTLE RIVER, S.C. (WBTW) — One of six non-Homeowners Association homes in Little River is making its mark on the community after placing various objects in their yard.

10 pink flamingos, both Trump 2024 and Biden 2024 flags, a trailer, multiple signs and more is what homeowner Anna Marie has placed in her yard.

Marie shared her voice on TikTok about how a South Carolina HOA has caused her and her family grief about the various objects in her yard. The neighborhood HOA’s are Carolina Crossing and Waccamaw Management. Both told News13 that they have not been in contact with Marie, as she’s not in their HOA.

Marie posted multiple videos on TikTok to get back at the South Carolina HOA that she claims to have been giving her trouble. One of them showing her daughter helping her draw one of the signs.

Other non-HOA residents in the community said that Marie is allowed to do what she wants with her yard. Maria Morales said she’s lived in the community for six years and hasn’t had any issues with the HOA herself and said that Marie shouldn’t either.

Morales said that some community members are bothered by both presidential flags being placed next to each other and the two trailers being left in her yard. But Morales said that Marie tends to keep to herself and doesn’t seem to be wanting to cause trouble.

“I mean technically they don’t have an HOA, so like, I guess, they have their own say of what they do to their house,” Morales said.
