LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Wrestling teams from Tennessee, Illinois, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas invaded the Jack Stephens Center for the Little Rock Trojans Wrestling camp.

The event began on Wednesday evening and ends Saturday afternoon. Campers from seventh grade to 12 th grade made the trip to central Arkansas.

The kids received free Trojans gear, food, and prizes, but most importantly, they learned the basics of traditional wrestling from this year’s PAC-12 Dual Meet Champions.

Little Rock head coach Neil Erisman along with several scholarship wrestlers spent countless hours teaching wrestling moves, coaching and refereeing duals during the camp.

FOX 16 was on hand during Day 2 and Day 3 of the event. The Trojans spoke about the camp’s growth over the years, the difference between WWE and traditional wrestling and using the camp as a recruiting tool.

The campers also spoke to FOX 16 about their experience and using what they learned for their own skillsets.
