    It’s National Chicken Wing Day; Here are the top spots in central Arkansas to get your fix

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Fried or grilled, Buffalo-style or lemon-pepper, with bleu cheese or ranch – almost everybody loves chicken wings, but where is the best place to get them in central Arkansas?

    Poultry is big business in the Natural State, bringing in more than $5.3 billion in production value for broilers in 2023, according to the US Department of Agriculture . In fact, The National Chicken Council, a poultry industry trade group, estimates that Americans will eat 33.5 billion chicken wings this year.

    10— Wings Take Out : 1423 W Roosevelt Rd, Little Rock. The wing offerings, which include catfish and chicken, have received great reviews. One reviewer said they were the best wings in central Arkansas “hands down.”

    9— Wings : 4604 E Broadway St, North Little Rock. They offer a broad menu of wings and catfish fillets. At least one reviewer pointed out that the prices were better than average.

    8— Grill Pollo—Bryant : 2006 N Reynolds Rd, Bryant. As the name implies, they offer more than wings here and receive positive customer reviews. The freshness of the offerings and the service were well-reviewed.

    7— Slim Chickens : 402 E Beebe-Capps Expy, Searcy. With locations across the state and country, this one in Searcy received a write-up from reviewers. The food and service received generally good reviews for its chicken-centric menu.

    6— Chassy’s Wings & Things : 11265 Hwy 70 W, Scott. On Highway 70 between Lonoke and North Little Rock, the reviews favor all the offerings, with a special nod to the wings. One recent reviewer mentioned how friendly and welcoming the owner was during their visit.

    5— Bosses Chicken : 116 S Allis St, England. The chicken, especially the wings, has received great reviews here. The sauces were also well-rated, and the pricing was considered reasonable.

    4— Arkansas Best Wings : 9817 Highway 107, Sherwood. At least one recent reviewer said this restaurant had higher quality and better prices than any chain restaurant. The wings are cooked to order, so expect a wait.

    3— Wing Station : 1515 Dave Ward Dr, Conway. The well-reviewed wings share the menu here with Chinese dishes. Reviewers have said it offers great food, excellent service, and great prices.

    2— Daddy’s Smackin’ Wings and Things : 2410 E Main St, Russellville. Well prepared wings served in a clean restaurant with a pleasant staff. The PBJ wings are highly recommended.

    1— It’s Just Wings : 3705 E Race Ave, Searcy. Boneless and bone-in wings, although a reviewer pointed out the fried Oreos are good. The dine-in option has them inside the Chili’s Grill & Bar.
