Mohamed Salah continues to prove his dedication to Liverpool , despite entering the final year of his contract at Anfield .

Alongside him, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk are also facing uncertainty as their contracts are set to expire next summer. Liverpool wrapped up its preseason with two friendlies on Sunday, first against Sevilla and then a behind-closed-doors match against La Liga's Las Palmas. It was Arne Slot's first time in the home dugout since taking over from Jurgen Klopp .

The Reds had plenty to celebrate in their victory over Sevilla, with Luis Diaz netting twice following Diogo Jota's spectacular opener. Youngster Trey Nyoni also made his mark with a goal in front of the Kop, rounding off a 4-1 win.

Salah continued to impress with standout performances against Arsenal and Manchester United in preseason. His commitment was further demonstrated when he posted an Instagram story of himself aqua cycling several hours after the friendly ended.

The low-impact exercise is believed to increase blood flow and muscle nutrients while reducing muscle stiffness and aches, as well as blood pressure. The early days of Slot's time at Liverpool have been marked by the standout work ethic of Mo Salah.

The Egyptian forward has been setting the pace at the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby, impressing with his fitness levels during pre-season. "Mo, came back strong. Really fit, that’s something he’s always been but it’s the same this year," said the 45-year-old.

"What you want from them is to set the example for the youngsters. For them, it’s very important, like others from the first team, that they stay fit. They are full of energy and that’s the most important thing at the moment. Keep them fit and build it up from there, and try to teach them as much as we can."
