Liverpool is set to kick off its Premier League campaign for 2024/25 and there has of course been a major change made ahead of the game with Ipswich Town. Arne Slot is now in the dugout having taken over from Jurgen Klopp .

With concerns over a lack of transfer activity so far this summer, beginning the new season with a strong performance and a victory would be a massive boost for Liverpool. But Kieran McKenna's side should provide a stern test on its return to the top flight for the first time in 22 years.

Here, Liverpool.com has picked out all of the information that you need to know about the game, including the kick-off time, TV details, highlights and early team news. We'll start with kick-off details for the UK and US.

    What time is kick-off?

The match kicks off at 12:30pm in the UK, which is 4:30am Pacific Time and 7:30am Eastern Time. It is set to be played at Portman Road which has a capacity of just under 30,000. Liverpool last played there in February 2002, winning 6-0 with Michael Owen and Emile Heskey among the goalscorers.

    Is the match on TV?

Yes, the match is in the early kick-off slot that Klopp hated. Liverpool played Sevilla at that time last week so Slot is familiar with it and his players should be more than used to it.

In the UK, you can watch it live on TNT Sports. In the USA, the game will be shown live on the USA Network, while Spanish language commentary is also available on UNIVERSO. Both of these channels are available on the streaming service Fubo, as well as other options including Sling TV.

    Early team news

In what might be a rarity for Liverpool if recent seasons are anything to go by, Slot has every single player available to him for this game. That's right: there are no injuries! We'll see how long that lasts.

It should be a priority for Slot to try and get more from the players who he has available before any transfers are completed. Keeping key men fit and healthy will be a massive part of that.

Ipswich, meanwhile, could have new signings Sammie Szmodics and Kalvin Phillips available after they were confirmed as new additions on Friday. Szmodics scored 27 goals in the Championship last season while Phillips is on loan from Manchester City.
