Arne Slot is making his mark at Liverpool by offloading some of the squad members who were previously favored by Jurgen Klopp.

Slot, yet to bring in his own signings, has shown decisiveness in moving on various team members, ranging from seasoned professionals to promising young talents once seen as future mainstays. This week, Bobby Clark, a hero of Liverpool's injury-ravaged triumph over Chelsea in the previous Carabao Cup final and lauded by Klopp for his standout displays, sealed a switch to RB Salzburg under Klopp's old number two, Pep Lijnders.

Fabio Carvalho and Sepp van den Berg will link up at Brentford this season and could even face up against Liverpool this weekend.

However, another prodigy well-regarded by Klopp looks set to depart Anfield . Stefan Bajcetic, the 19 year old Spanish midfielder projected to be a key figure in Liverpool's midfield, might be heading for the exit before the transfer window shuts.

Klopp had lavishly praised Bajcetic's abilities, referring to him as a "top talent" and "super player" after he made significant contributions during the 2022/23 campaign. Klopp said of Bajcetic: "If you meet him he is a top, intelligent boy and it is a joy to work together."

Mohamed Salah is also on record singing the praises of youngster Stefan Bajcetic, who impressed during Liverpool's Merseyside derby triumph in February 2023. Speaking to Sky Sports after the 2-0 victory over Everton, Salah said: "He's a great player and person, he always tries to work hard. Since he started playing for us, he has been our best player maybe so hopefully he keeps that confidence and keeps going."

Bajcetic himself expressed his delight at receiving commendations from such a high calibre teammate, remarking: "Mo Salah is probably one of the best players ever in Liverpool history so it is nice to hear a legend say that to me."

However, the Telegraph reports that Slot may have differing opinions to Klopp and Salah regarding Bajcetic's immediate future, hinting that the starlet might be on his way out sooner rather than later.
