Caoimhin Kelleher and Conor Bradley have gone up a fair amount having continued to impress last season. Ryan Gravenberch has dropped a little, reflecting his lack of game time.
Alisson remains the best in the world so his high rating is no surprise. Kelleher, even though he has gone up four points, is a little unfortunate not to be even higher. It remains to be seen how highly Giorgi Mamardashvili is rated but is now a Liverpool player having joined the Reds. He will stay at Valencia for another year.
Van Dijk is clearly still hugely important for Liverpool but Trent Alexander-Arnold is a little unlucky not to have a higher score. Even with Quansah's increase, that looks on the low side too.
Mac Allister's rise is deserved but the other midfielders might be a little low. Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott and Gravenberch should all be above Wataru Endo, while Dominik Szoboszlai losing a mark is a bit harsh.
Forwards
Mohamed Salah – 89 (-) Diogo Jota – 85 (-) Luis Diaz – 84 – (-) Cody Gakpo – 83 (-) Darwin Nunez – 82 (-)
Salah being at the top is no shock. Even over the age of 30 and with his contract running down as things stand, the Liverpool talisman remains the club's most important player.
Getting him tied down to an extension is going to be vital over the course of the next couple of months because he still has a great deal to offer. It seems like an absolute no-brainer and the same can be said of Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold as well.
