Federico Chiesa's model wife sends message to new Liverpool signing after dream transfer

New Liverpool player Federico Chiesa's wife, Lucia Bramani, has sent a loving message to her husband after making the switch to Anfield from Juventus.

Chiesa , 26, departed his beloved Italy and headed to the Premier League after injuries after his Euro 2020 excellence halted his progress. The Old Lady collected a fee totaling $16.45 million for the winger after he was informed he would not be part of new manager Thiago Motta's plans for the 2024/25 season.

His wife, Bramani, a model that he has spent the last two years with having met in 2022, and married this year, will be making the move to Merseyside with him to be by his side. Bramani has sent Chiesa a loving message of support following his latest career move.

"New chapter for you, for me, for us. Always by your side," she said on Instagram , alongside a picture of them kissing while holding Liverpool's home jersey. Capped 51 times for his country, Chiesa brings a wealth of experience to Arne Slot's team, and significantly boosts the Dutchman's attacking options.

The Italian will provide a direct threat to the Reds, as they look to maintain, and build on the foundations left by legendary manager, Jurgen Klopp . He told Liverpoolfc.com : “I’m so happy to be a Liverpool player.

"When Richard Hughes called me and he said, ‘Do you want to join Liverpool?’ – and the coach called me – I said yes immediately because I know the history of this club, I know what it represents to the fans. So, I’m so happy and I can’t wait to get started.”

Last season, Chiesa managed 33 appearances for Juve, scoring nine times and providing two assists. He's the second signing announced by Liverpool this week, with Valencia and Georgia shot-stopper Giorgi Mamardashvili set to link up with his Reds teammates next summer after seeing out the current campaign with Valencia.

The transfer window closes on Friday, Aug. 30, and Liverpool are not expected to do any incoming business unless a shock deal arises before the 11 p.m. deadline. Thus far, the Reds have started the season well under Slot, recording two wins in the Premier League, with victories coming over Ipswich Town, and Brentford.

A bigger challenge will be posed this weekend as Liverpool travels to Anfield to take on longtime rivals, Manchester United. Following the international break, Nottingham Forest will visit Anfield, followed by a Carabao Cup third-round clash with West Ham at home, and then Bournemouth in the Premier League.

The Reds will also find out their Champions League fate on Thursday, with the draw scheduled for 5 p.m. midday on Thursday. It is the first season that Uefa European competitions will use a league format before progressing to the knockout stages.

Liverpool.com says : Chiesa will be a useful weapon to Slot should he stay fit. The deal at a mere $16.45m makes the transfer a no-brainer, considering the player's potential. The transfer has a massive upside, and the Reds would be able to recoup most of the fee, if not a little bit more, should it not work out.
