Manchester United supporters unleashed their wrath , demanding Erik ten Hag 's dismissal during the disastrous 3-0 defeat to Tottenham.

The match had barely started when United fell behind within just three minutes, and Bruno Fernandes' red card poured more frustration onto an already bleak scenario. The team's lackluster performance in the first half was punished by Brennan Johnson's early goal from a brilliant Mickey van de Ven run and cross before Fernandes's rash moment against James Maddison led to his sending-off.

Tottenham's Dejan Kulusevski didn't waste time doubling the trouble for United right after halftime, triggering "you're getting sacked in the morning" chants from the dismayed visiting fans. Dominic Solanke added salt to United's wounds with a third goal but, by then, some of the Old Trafford faithful had seen enough, and the calls for Ten Hag's head had already begun.

One frustrated fan took to social media: "We're always getting bullied on the pitch. We need a dark arts coach. We need to start playing dirty too. Ten Hag OUT!"

Another dissatisfied voice remarked: "Gets the players he wants. No game plan. Makes easy games look so difficult. Good players look trash under him. Just press talks and blacklisting players. Get Erik Ten Hag out of Manchester United."

The consensus of discontent was clear as another observer lamented: "Ill disciplined, running around like headless chickens," adding that the players seemed lost regarding their positions and roles, signaling it might be time for ten Hag to pack his bags.

One critic was blunt about the doubts surrounding the former Ajax manager's ability to make significant changes at Old Trafford, mentioning: "When do we say enough is enough! @ManUtd? Because if you still believe this man can turn things around, the question is when and how?"

Gary Neville delivered a scathing assessment of United's first-half performance, sparing no criticism for the team and laying into both Marcus Rashford and Fernandes in particular.

Describing United's showing, he said on Sky Sports: "It just sums up Manchester United in this first half, to be fair they've been an absolute disgrace," declaring it one of the poorest displays he has observed during Erik ten Hag's tenure.

Regarding Fernandes, Neville noted: "When players react like that, it means something has gone on that we haven't seen initially. He's gone knee-high Bruno Fernandes. I think he slips just before the tackle but he's not going to get away with it."

Neville did not mince words about Rashford either, after a mistake leading up to Spurs' goal, remarking: "Rubbish from him."

He continued his critique by saying: "Marcus Rashford, it's poor to be honest, his touch is heavy and awful and he's got to do better than that. Even if he dives in and gives a foul away."
