    Jurgen Klopp is set to take the reins as Red Bull's Head of Soccer, a move that could have significant implications for Liverpool's future transfer dealings.

    The former Reds boss will begin his new role on 1st January 2025 , overseeing the sports company's array of clubs, including Red Bull Salzburg, RB Leipzig, and New York Red Bulls.

    While not involved in the day-to-day running, Klopp will be playing a 'strategic role' aimed at enhancing Red Bull's footballing philosophy and utilising his vast network to scout talent and help develop coaching staff.

    The synergy between Liverpool and Red Bull has been evident, with players like Stefan Bajcetic and Bobby Clark moving between the clubs, and signings such as Ibrahima Konate, Dominik Szoboszlai, Naby Keita, and Takumi Minamino from Red Bull's teams.

    The German tactician views his position as a mentor within the Red Bull hierarchy, focusing on nurturing the wealth of footballing talent. Klopp expressed his ambitions, saying: "I want to develop, improve and support the incredible football talent that we have at our disposal."

    Klopp is set to bring his wealth of football knowledge to the Red Bull stable, waxing lyrical about the novel alignments with the energy drink powerhouse: "There are many ways that we can do this front using the elite knowledge and experience that Red Bull possesses to learning from other sports and other industries.

    "Together we can discover what is possible. I see my role primarily as a mentor for the coaches and management of the Red Bull clubs but ultimately, I am one part of an organisation that is unique, innovative and forward looking."

    Red Bull are evidently keen to harness Klopp's expertise to enhance their teams worldwide, aiming for him to exert a significant influence.

    The sentiment is echoed by Red Bull's CEO Corporate Projects and Investments, Oliver Mintzlaff, who expressed immense pride in Klopp's appointment: "We are very proud of this outstanding and certainly the strongest signing in Red Bull's soccer history. Jurgen Klopp is one of the greatest and most influential figures in world soccer, with extraordinary skills and charisma.

    "In his role as Head of Soccer, he will be a game changer for our involvement in international soccer and its continued development. We are hoping for valuable and decisive impulses in key areas to make the clubs even better, both collectively and individually."
