Erik ten Hag has huge injury list as Manchester United problems continue to mount

The international break has not provided any relief for Manchester United , with Erik ten Hag facing a growing injury list ahead of the Red Devils' clash with Brentford .

The Bees are set to visit Old Trafford in an attempt to add to Ten Hag's woes , as United aim to halt a five-match winless streak. The hosts may have to do so without summer recruit Manuel Ugarte. Ten Hag will be hoping for better news regarding his players who withdrew from international duty. Noussair Mazraoui also missed out on Morocco's squad and faces an uncertain recovery period after undergoing a minor precautionary procedure following heart palpitations. This leaves United with Diogo Dalot as its only senior full-back, with Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw still recovering.

Earlier this month, Ten Hag suggested that Malacia still needed to join team training, while Shaw could return after the international break.

"We hope Luke can return after the international break quickly," said the54-year-old.
