Liverpool's Alexis Mac Allister and Kostas Tsimikas are both fitness concerns ahead of Sunday's clash with Chelsea after missing full training at the AXA Centre on Friday. Mac Allister was not part of the team session as he continues his recovery from an adductor issue that saw him substituted at half-time during the victory over Crystal Palace before the international break.

Despite being cleared to play for Argentina and featuring in its 6-0 win over Bolivia, the former Brighton midfielder was absent from Liverpool's team training, instead participating in a gym session. Tsimikas, who missed Greece's win over England due to illness before emerging as a late substitute against Ireland during the international break, also did not participate in Friday's training session.

With Tsimikas out, Andy Robertson is tipped to reclaim his spot in Liverpool's formidable defence, which boasts the Premier League's best defensive record with only two goals conceded in seven matches.

In his Friday morning press conference, before the squad trained together for the first time since the international break, Slot remarked: "Now we've got quite some issues from players coming back from the national teams, and we can only judge that perfectly today because today is the first time that they are all in and the first time that they are all training together again. So, let's see after the session where everybody is.

He added: "Macca missed one game [for Argentina], he played the second one. Kostas missed out in the first game against England so I can name them all but we've got a few issues going on and let's wait and see where we are after today. [Wataru] Endo as well [he] was also sick."

Meanwhile, Federico Chiesa was absent from the session as he continues his recovery, having not featured in the Palace match or the Champions League win over Bologna on October 2.

Liverpool's other injury concerns include Harvey Elliott and Alisson. Elliott is back in light training after sustaining a foot fracture during the September international break, while Alisson is due to be sidelined until after the November international break with a hamstring injury, opening the door for Caoimhin Kelleher to deputise for the Brazilian in the coming weeks.

Kelleher was not on the bench for the win over Palace due to illness but played twice for Ireland during the international break and is expected to line up against Chelsea on Sunday.
