According to the Jewish Baseball Museum, it was the first-ever grand slam hit by a Jewish batter off a Jewish pitcher.

An Upper Macungie Township woman died in her home after being exposed to severe heat conditions, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office determined on Thursday. ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. — Two central Pennsylvania ice cream shops have partnered to raise money for a local animal shelter during National Ice Cream Month. Ripleigh Maring, owner of Ripleigh's Creamery, says she grew up eating Mr. G's ice cream and thought it would be fun to strike up a friendly competitive partnership. Sample Earns Bronze in 100-Meter Dash at the U.S. Paralympic Team Trials
MIRAMAR, Fla.- Rayven Sample '24 won bronze in the 100-meter dash in the T45-47 Divisions on Saturday morning at the U.S. Paralympic Team Trials. Sample's time of 11.44 finished third overall, and as the only runner in the T45 field, clinched first in his division. The graduated Bucknell dashman obtained a solid get-off and kept a solid clip through the first 50 meters. Sample reached into his fuel reserves and added a final burst to gain his bronze standing.
