Juvenile injured during gunfire incident in Montgomery neighborhood
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Montgomery police say a disturbance on Rosa L. Parks Avenue Monday afternoon left a 13-year-old boy hurt, but not seriously. A police spokeswoman said officers responded to a shooting call at about 1:15 p.m. Officers found that the boy sustained minor injuries as a result of gunfire during the disturbance.
Hursboro, Lowndesboro receive grants for recreation improvements
Hurtsboro and Lowndesboro were among other communities to receive a grant from the state to improve its recreation services.
