Livingston County football top performers through Week 4

    By Bill Khan, Livingston Daily,

The top two rushers in Livingston County will be on the field when Brighton travels to Hartland for a 7 p.m. Friday football game.

Brighton quarterback Lawrence Wells leads the county with 492 rushing yards. Hartland has gained yards on the ground by more traditional means, with running back Matt Flynn rushing for 335 yards.

Howell probably would have the No. 1 or No. 2 rusher if the Highlanders weren’t so deep at running back, spreading around the carries. Howell has five of the top 10 rushers in the county through four weeks.
