(WNY News Now) – Rochester – In a brazen daylight incident, a Dollar General employee was robbed at gunpoint on Jones Avenue in Rochester, N.Y., on Wednesday afternoon. Rochester Police responded to a report of a gunpoint robbery on Jones Avenue near Parkway at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Upon arrival, officers found a 33-year-old man who reported being robbed at gunpoint.

Three people dead after crash on I-86 in Chemung
CHEMUNG, N.Y. (WENY) --Three people were killed in a deadly crash on Interstate 86 in Chemung, N.Y. on Friday. According to New York State Police, a 36-year-old man driving west in a 2018 Nissan Maxima crossed over the grass median, and into the eastbound lane of traffic, hitting a 2015 Acura RDX. Police say the Acura was driven by an 18-year-old man, with a 44-year-old female passenger.
