Gardendale pulls away in fourth quarter to beat Pinson Valley
Gardendale took advantage of a number of Pinson Valley special teams errors and relied on a solid running game to earn a 42-16 victory at Driver Stadium. Rockets quarterback Deacon Dyer supplied the game’s biggest play in the first quarter when he raced 73 yards for a touchdown. He added TD runs of 1 and 2 yards in the home opener.
