Oversized load to move through East Tennessee this week
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A third oversized load will be on the move in East Tennessee this week, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation. TDOT’s Mark Nagi said there will be rolling road blocks for the oversized load on Wednesday as it works its way from Knoxville to Kingsport.

Juvenile dead after jet ski crash on Old Hickory Lake
LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) - A juvenile died in a jet ski crash on Old Hickory Lake on Tuesday night, according to the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office. At about 4:30 p.m. deputies responded to the area of Creighton Lane on Old Hickory Lake to reports of a jet ski crash. Soil samples returned positive, Cookeville officials prepared to purchase land along North Washington Avenue for the construction of a new Fire Station 2.
