LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) - Two Wilson County schools were placed on a soft lockdown after a high-speed pursuit near the schools on Friday morning. Wilson County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a routine traffic stop in the 1500 block of Couchville Pike around 9 a.m. During the traffic stop, the individual fled and rammed a Wilson County Sheriff’s patrol car.

Nashville man with Down syndrome battles illness in ICU, family launches GoFundMe
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--The family of a young Nashville man with Down syndrome is now facing another battle as their son fights off illness at a local ICU. Max Hulan was born with rare genetic conditions, Down syndrome, pulmonary artesia, and pulmonary stenosis according to a GoFundMe launched by the family. The fundraiser adds given his lungs are extremely weak on a regular day, his current battle with pneumonia is now taking a "huge" toll on his body.
