Shelter forced to evacuate animals after air conditioning fails
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Nashville Humane Association is without air conditioning at possibly the worst time to be without a way to keep cool. With a heat advisory in effect for the Nashville area until 8 p.m., Nashville Humane reported its location on Oceola Avenue has been without air conditioning since Sunday. Staff at the shelter were told a permanent fix cannot happen until Thursday.

Whitehaven resident Carolyn Crump says it’s been years since the trees have been trimmed in the area between 21 East Falls Road and 23 West Falls Road.
