    Enjoy free Whitey’s ice cream at Davenport Police Department’s ‘Cops and Cones’

    The Davenport Police Association is inviting the community to the annual Cops and Cones Ice Cream Social at Vander Veer Botanical Park, 215 W. Central Park Avenue, on Tuesday, August 13 from 6 to 8 p.m.

    The family-friendly event will be near the playground. Participants can enjoy a free single dip Whitey’s Ice Cream cone while meeting Davenport police officers.

    “The Annual Cops and Cones event is more than just an opportunity to enjoy some free ice cream – it’s a chance for us to connect with our community outside of a call for service,” said Davenport Police Corporal Brittany Berger. “We look forward to seeing everyone at Vander Veer Botanical Park for an evening of fun!”
