Cancer patients and their families have a new option for receiving support.

Cancer Support Community Iowa & NW Illinois at Gilda’s Club is launching two new virtual cancer support groups, starting in September. These free online communities provide support, connection and encouragement to anyone impacted by cancer, no matter where they are.

The Friends & Family Support Group is for caregivers and loved ones of those impacted by cancer. It’s a safe space to share challenges, ask questions and know they are not alone. This group will be offered on Wednesdays from 6-7:30 p.m., starting on September 4 th .

All attendees must attend a one-time Welcome Meeting before attending a support group. All programs are offered at no cost. To learn more and register, click here .
