    Motorcycle rider injured in Clinton County hit and run

    A man from Toronto, Iowa was taken by helicopter to Iowa City after a hit and run incident in Clinton County.

    According to a crash report from the Iowa State Patrol, a 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Ronald Ohaver of Toronto was westbound on U.S. 30, approaching 154 th Avenue on Tuesday, August 13 at about 6:49 p.m. A vehicle described as a 2007-2012 black Nissan Sentra was southbound on 154 th Avenue and failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign. The Sentra collided with the motorcycle and left the scene. Ohaver was seriously injured and taken to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics by a MedForce helicopter. The report says he is expected to recover from his injuries.

    The incident remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
