Galesburg Schools holding community sale

Anyone shopping for desks, filing cabinets and other classroom essentials can find great deals in Galesburg next weekend.

The Galesburg School District is holding a community sale on Saturday, August 24 at the former Gale Elementary School, 1131 West Dayton Street. The sale runs from 8 – 11 a.m. and all items are $1. There will be no “holds” and items must be taken at the time of sale.

Items up for sale include desks, filing cabinets, student and adult chairs and more.
