Get school, baby supplies at Back to School Block Party

TMBC Lincoln Resource Center will have something new at the 3rd Annual Back to School Block Party – a community baby shower! The free event will be on Saturday, August 24th from 1-4 p.m. at The Lincoln Center, 318 E. Seventh Street in Davenport.

The event features:
– School supply giveaway for K-12 students
– Free backpacks
– Community baby shower with essential items for new and expecting parents
– Free food, while supplies last
– Live music and entertainment
– Free sports physicals – Iowa students only
– Family-friendly activities and games

“We’re thrilled to combine our popular Back to School event with Scott County Health Department’s Community Baby Shower this year,” said Tracy Singleton, Executive Director of TMBC. “This allows us to support both students and new families in our community as they prepare for important milestones.”

The Community Baby Shower will have donations of diapers, wipes and other essentials for babies and toddlers, along with games and other resources. New and expecting parents can receive these items when they attend.
