Hampton shutoff is off

UPDATE : The water must flow after all. The shutoff Hampton announced earlier Wednesday — is off.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, the shut off for tomorrow has been cancelled. We will keep you posted,” a news release from the village said.

EARLIER UPDATE: A repair project in Hampton means water must be shut off to a section of the village tomorrow.

A news release from the village says that water will be shut off on Thursday, September 5 ^th for repairs. The affected area includes Third Avenue and Third Avenue A between Third Street and Fifth Street, Cherry Hill, Platinum, Riverview Grooming and the barber shop.
