Gas dock season ends at Muscatine Harbor

It’s the end of gas dock season in Muscatine.

The Muscatine Municipal Boat Harbor Gas Dock is officially closed for the season, according to a news release from the city. Parks and Recreation Department (MPRD) staff will move the dock into storage for the winter on Monday, September 30.

MPRD has a new public survey on the Muscatine Boat Harbor to collect information and ideas from the public on ways to improve the existing amenities to better accommodate the boating community. The survey covers several topics, including input on the Gas Dock facilities and the possibility of covered slips.
