Black Hawk College hosting career, college fairs

Black Hawk College has two events this week to help people plan the next phases of their careers, a new Government Career Fair for federal, state and city jobs and the 52nd annual College Night. Both events are free and will be at the college’s Quad-Cities Campus, 6600 34th Avenue in Moline.

The Government Career Fair will be on Tuesday, October 1 from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in Building 1, upper lobby. Visitors should park in Lot 1 off 70th Street.

Seventeen agencies are scheduled to attend, including the Rock Island Arsenal, the Bureau of Prisons and the U.S. Post Office. Click here for the full list of agencies. Call (309) 796-5129 for more information.

College Night is Thursday, October 3 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the gym in Building 3. Participants should park in Lot 2 or Lot 3 off 34th Avenue.
