    Enjoy world-class Irish dancing at A Taste of Ireland at Adler Theatre

    Watch some of the top Irish dancers in the world in action as A Taste of Ireland—The Irish Music & Dance Sensation makes a stop at the Adler Theatre in Davenport on Friday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m. The Adler is located at 136 E. Third Street in Davenport. The production debuted with a highly successful off-Broadway show earlier this year in the U.S. and has played to enthralled audiences around the world. Time Out Sydney calls it “world-class Irish dancing, melodic folk music mashups, live acapella tap battles, and craic galore,” while BroadwayWorld Sydney says it’s “an evening to excite and satisfy your Irish palette.”

    A Taste of Ireland—The Irish Music & Dance Sensation features a cast of world-champion Irish dancers, musicians and a contemporary vocalist for an unforgettable evening of music and dance. By putting modern spins on classics such as ‘Danny Boy,’ ‘Wild Rover’ and ‘Tell Me Ma,’ the high-energy performances showcase dance performances with heartfelt emotion that take audiences through Ireland’s with electrifying dances, dramatic scenery and spectacular lighting.

    The show is directed byBrent Pace and produced by Ceili Moore and features music by Charlie Galloway. The cast includes world champion Irish dancers and stars from Lord of the Dance and Riverdance like Gavin Shevlin, two-time World Champion and formerly with Lord of the Dance and Riverdance, Julia O’Rourke, four-time World Champion and star of JIG , Megan McGinley, Ulster Champion fiddler and All Ireland Finalist, featured in Scruth and formerly with Lord of the Dance and Callum O’Neill, world champion and formerly with Riverdance.
