    Moline Public Library hosting workshop on holiday grief

    A workshop from the Moline Public Library will help people dealing with grief manage the upcoming holidays.

    “Surviving Grief During the Holidays” with Jackie Hauer and Jill Finn will be on Saturday, November 2 at 11 a.m. at the Moline Public Library, 3210 41 st Street. The workshop is a safe space to explore how grief changes holiday experiences and offers practical tools for coping with emotional challenges. Participants will honor grief and find new ways to mark the season through guided discussions, reflection and shared experiences.

    The workshop will offer support and strategies for managing the season for both people who are newly grieving and those who have experienced loss in the past.

    Jill Finn, M.S., is a certified grief educator/grief specialist. Jackie Hauer is a is currently finishing her End-of-Life Doula Certification through INELDA. She is a RYT-200 Yoga teacher and holds a B.A. from Millikin University
