    Bettendorf woman sentenced to prison for theft

    A 30-year-old Bettendorf woman was sentenced Thursday to prison for first-degree theft, according to court records.

    After she pleaded guilty, Danielle Quendt, also known as Danielle Petrovich, was sentenced to a term of no more than 10 years, court records show.

    She will receive credit for time already served in the case. Other charges were dismissed, according to court records. Quandt’s term of incarceration may be reduced from the maximum sentence because of statutory earned time, work credits and program credits. She may be eligible for parole before the sentence is discharged.

    Misappropriation of business expenses

    On Sept. 12, 2022, Davenport Police took a report about misappropriation of business expenses., arrest affidavits show.

    Police received documents, including a forensic audit from the victim, prepared by Sitrick and Associates LLC. These documents indicate that between March 1, 2022, and June 30, 2022, Quandt, via the business Gold Finch Realty, was hired to manage the properties of Redtail Homes LLC, Argentum Properties LLC, and Red Cloud Holdings LLC.

    “It was during that time (Quandt) misappropriated funds from these accounts in the amount of $80,950.36,” affidavits say.
