A recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows a potential $130 million renovation for Toyota Stadium, home of FC Dallas. According to the filing, a 130,000-square-foot expansion featuring premium products such as clubs and suites, along with updated broadcast and press areas to meet Major League Soccer guidelines could be planned for the stadium. The construction is expected to start in January 2025 and be completed by August 2027. After severe storms swept through North Texas in the early morning of May 28, 2024, some supermarkets lost power. Milk and other perishables were tossed out, and customers shopped in the dark. But this didn’t happen at H-E-B in North Texas. Power To Remain Out In Several North Texas Cities
Following severe storms on May 28, 2024, areas of multiple North Texas cities are struggling to get power back. According to the city of Plano, several parts of the city are expected to remain without power until approximately Friday while Oncor works to restore the issue. McKinney Amphitheater Will Receive $26 Million In Public Funding
The 20,000-person capacity Sunset Amphitheater planned for McKinney will receive approximately $26 million in public funding, which could total $100 million with tax breaks over the next 20 years.
