    2024-02-01

SAN BERNARDINO, California -- Authorities are intensifying efforts to locate Eugene Ehe, an 88-year-old white male with mild early dementia, who has been reported missing. Mr. Ehe was last seen in the Hospitality Lane corridor during the mid to late afternoon of January 31st, wearing a red flannel shirt and white pants.

Standing at 5'7" and weighing 180 pounds, Eugene Ehe remains an elusive figure since his disappearance. Despite his cognitive challenges, he continues to drive a 2015 Red Ford Focus, California license plate 7NEG364.

Family members and law enforcement officials express concern as Ehe, who may have been heading to the City of Redlands, has not returned. The urgency to locate him stems from his condition, adding a critical dimension to the ongoing search.

San Bernardino Police Department is appealing to the public for assistance. If anyone has information about Eugene Ehe's whereabouts or has spotted him, they are urged to contact the SBPD Dispatch Center at (909) 383-5311 immediately.

Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any sightings of Mr. Ehe or his vehicle, fostering community collaboration in the endeavor to bring him home safely.
