Lock Haven, Pa. — Vincent Anthony Riggs-Mauck of Lock Haven was sentenced for selling large quantities of cocaine in Clinton County throughout 2023.

Riggs-Mauck happened to sell some of that cocaine to investigators with the Pennsylvania State Police. Tuesday, Riggs-Mauck was sentenced to 10 years incarceration at a state correctional institution, despite requests from his counsel to serve a much shorter sentence.

Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse argued that each time Riggs-Mauck sold cocaine, he committed a new crime. Riggs-Mauck’s attorney responded, claiming police loaded up charges by making multiple purchases of the drug.

Strouse ultimately asked and got a maximum ten-year sentence. He claimed Riggs-Mauck was selling large quantities of cocaine and cited his extensive criminal history. Strouse argued previous jail stints had no impact on Riggs-Mauck.

President Judge Craig Mills sided with the prosecution and handed down the multi-year sentence. Riggs-Mauck is parole eligible after 37 months.
