STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. - A Stockbridge-based nonprofit stepped in to help hundreds of Houston residents impacted by prolonged power outages following the wrath of Hurricane Beryl. Two weeks after Beryl barreled through the city, power outages proved to be just as dangerous with dozens of heat-related deaths and many more facing financial impacts. Lawrenceville house fire believed to be caused by arson, firefighters say
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A Lawrenceville house was badly damaged by fire Saturday night in what Gwinnett County officials believe to be an arson case. Near 9 p.m., a neighbor called 911 to report the fire in the 3000 block of Iron Gate Court. When firefighters arrived, the garage and the back side of the home were ablaze, according to Gwinnett County Fire & Emergency Services.
14-year-old girl last seen at Woodstock outlet mall located, police say
