    High school football preview: League move to the SJAA puts the Tigers in uncharted territory

    The Tokay High football team is looking at the possibility of a very different type of campaign in 2024.

    The team is in a new league, moving from the Division I Tri-City Athletic League to the D-III San Joaquin Athletic Association, and the team is replacing two players that figured to be key pieces. Tokay’s fourth-year coach Collin Rhoads doesn’t see that as too much of a speed bump in the pursuit of what could be a wide-open league.
