Paraglider critically injured in July 19 accident
A 33-year-old man has been hospitalized with “life-threatening” injuries after falling from his troubled paraglider after his parachute failed to open. According to a Dane County Sheriff’s Office news release, at 8:24 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with EMS, responded to the area of 457 Union Road in the town of Oregon for a paraglider who was injured when his parachute did not deploy.
