FEMA closing Indian Lake recovery center Wednesday
LAKEVIEW — The Federal Emergency Management Agency will close its disaster recovery center in Logan County permanently on Wednesday, FEMA announced. The center, located at the Indian Lake EMS District Building, 280 N. Oak St., Lakeview, will permanently close at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 26. Disaster recovery centers have been open since a March 14 tornado hit the Indian Lake region. It included specialists from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration to help people apply for federal assistance and answer questions.
