Local company celebrates 40-year milestone

LOGAN — Carborundum Grinding Wheel Company celebrated their 40 year anniversary under the Marchetti legacy with the launch of a newly updated website and a company picnic for employees and their families on June 28.

A staple manufacturing business dedicated to the production of high-quality resin bonded grinding wheels in Logan, Ohio since their onset in 1956 by The Carborundum Company, under Bill Marchetti’s ownership since 1984 as Carborundum Grinding Wheel Company, and now, under the leadership of Alexandra Marchetti in 2023, the company is a privately owned small business that continues to provide not only quality products but also career opportunities for the region.

Carborundum Grinding Wheel Company is a proud manufacturer of made in America products and provides custom made grinding wheels to clients both domestically and internationally.
