4-H club news

The June 25 meeting of the Cedar Falls 4-H Club was called to order by Vice President Lucas Johnson. Pledges were led by Lucas Johnson and Griffin Daubenmire.

Old business

• Members were reminded of Project Judging and Livestock Skillathon being held on Saturday July 6th from 8-1130 at the Chieftain Center.

• Members were also reminded of the bake sale at Grandma Faye’s on 6/29.

New business

•4H members talked about what type of club shirts they would like to purchase for this year and what color. Member project books were also checked by advisors.

• Annual Feeder calf tag-in is set for Aug. 17 from 8-10 a.m. at the fairgrounds.

• Demonstrations were given by Emmie, Lauren, Zeke, and Ben.

• Hunter McCombs gave a safety report. There were no health reports given at this meeting.

The next meeting is July 18 at 7 p.m. at Kachelmacher Park. Hunter McCombs adjourned the meeting and Ben Klingelhafer seconded the adjournment.
