CLEVELAND, Ohio – Last month the Northeast Ohio sports world revisited 10 Cent Beer Night, the raucous evening at the ballpark that resulted in a forfeit against Cleveland. The 50th anniversary of that ignoble night took folks down memory lane to recall the June 4, 1974, game between Texas and Cleveland that resulted in baseball’s official forfeit score of 9-0.
WOUB General Manager Mark Brewer celebrates 25 years with the organization
WOUB Public Media General Manager Mark Brewer is celebrating 25 years with the organization this month. He joined WOUB in July 1999 as director of public television programming and outreach. Brewer came to WOUB from KAWE/KAWB (now LakelandPBS) in Bemidji, Minnesota, but has been working in public media for four decades.

New Albany Dance Festival to take place next weekend
NEW ALBANY, Ohio — Dancers from all over will convene in central Ohio next weekend for the third annual New Albany Dance Festival. Hosted by New Vision Dance Company, the festival is a 3-day event.
