One man killed, another injured in Yonkers shooting at Doyle Park

One person was killed and another was injured after a shooting in Yonkers on Monday evening.

Yonkers Police Sgt. Frank DiDomizio said police responded to a scene at Doyle Park around 5 p.m. where two men had sustained serious gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment, where one victim later died. The other remains in stable condition.

DiDomizio said police have not yet released the identity of the victims, as the investigation remains active.
