    Boys soccer: Who is your pick for lohud player of the week?

    Get your thumbs ready.

    We're already two weeks into the new season and are spotlighting the best performances from the past week. Read what our lohud Boys Soccer Player of the Week got accomplished then vote for the player who had the biggest impact. We'll post the winner later this week on social media.

    The poll will remain open until 3 p.m. Wednesday.

    Christopher Dutan, Woodlands

    The senior forward led the Falcons to a 6-2 win over Putnam Valley, getting three goals and one assist.

    Juan Pablo Flores, Roosevelt

    The senior midfielder helped secure the Yonkers City Championship, shutting down runs and moving the ball forward in wins over Saunders and Obama School and then a 2-2 draw with YMA in the title game. The Sharks left with the hardware after prevailing 9-8 in penalty kicks.

    Luis Gutierez, Rye Country Day

    The senior midfielder delivered a goal and two assists in a 3-0 win over Hamden Hall.

    Adrian Juarez, Mamaroneck

    The senior forward was highly involved Friday, getting three goals and one assist in a 4-1 win over Suffern.

    Hayato Kobayashi, Keio Academy

    The junior defensive midfielder delivered two goals in a 3-1 win over Bronxville.

    Alex Lenaghan, Ossining

    The senior midfielder did not land on the scoresheet last week, but he controlled the middle, triggering attacks that led to three goals in a 2-1 win over Arlington and a 1-1 draw against John Jay-East Fishkill.

    Clyde Mackin, Nyack

    The junior midfielder, scored his second goal of the game with 55 seconds to play, lifting the RedHawks to a 2-1 win over Hen Hud. He also handed out one assist in a loss to Ardsley.

    Oban Rader, Lakeland

    The senior keeper has posted four consecutive shutouts. He blanked Edgemont, Gorton and Hen Hud last week, making nine saves.

    Erick Tenezaca, Spring Valley

    The freshman midfielder had one goal and one assist in a loss to Rye and two assists in a win over Brewster.

    Nico Waldhauser, Tappan Zee

    The sophomore goalie made eight saves in a 2-0 win over Harrison and five saves in a 1-0 win over Eastchester.
