    Lohud high school football scoreboard for Oct. 4-6: North Rockland tops Carmel

    It's going to be a relatively quiet Friday with no Section 1 games on the schedule due to Rosh Hashanah, but there's a full slate of games on Saturday and we finish up with four games on Sunday. We'll be updating scores all weekend and then adding recaps from games later in the day as we get details from the coaches.

    Play hard. Cheer politely.

    FRIDAY

    Mount St. Michael 42, Kennedy Catholic 13

    KC: John DeSocio returned a kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown. Nico Calandrello ran for a 14-yard TD. Jake Alves recorded eight tackles and recovered a fumble. Ethan Csakany also made eight stops.

    Hackley 34, St. Dominic 14

    Hk: Will Belleville caught a pair of touchdown passes. Hugo Everitt ran for a pair of TDs. Logan Wissner had an interception while Sam Suniewick, Thomas O'Brien and Lucas Vitale controlled the line of scrimmage.

    Peekskill 20, Albertus Magnus 0

    Tappan Zee 35, Panas 6

    TZ: Tommy Kivelhan completed 13 of 21 attempts for 203 yards and three touchdowns. Mike Martinez made five catches for 72 yards and one TD. He also ran for an 18-yard score. Jack Piccione had four receptions for 58 yards and one TD. Aedan Toapha ran for 65 yards and one TD on 16 carries. James Caufield and Kevin Kukla each had an interception.

    Bronxville 26, Ardsley 19

    Mamaroneck 23, Arlington 13

    Mk: Kieran Jacobson completed 12 of 21 attempts for 108 yards and one TD and ran for 66 yards on 15 carries. Mark Lebowitz ran for 46 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries. Jack Davidson caught five passes for 47 yards and one touchdown. Will Prevost kicked a 30-yard field goal. The defense had four takeaways. Alex Cutler, Zack Alperwitz and Jack Perez had interceptions and Mika Barry-Thouez had a fumble recovery.

    Fox Lane 28, Yorktown 25

    Port Chester 38, Woodlands 32

    Pleasantville 42, Pelham 26

    Byram Hills 51, Hen Hud 28

    BH: Bryce Baskind threw for a pair of touchdowns and ran for another. Tyler Marescot brought a kickoff back 90 yards for a TD. Michael Bordoni and Luke Weiss combined for three rushing touchdowns. Evan Petta caught a TD pass, blocked a punt, recorded a sack and a safety.

    North Rockland 37, Carmel 27

    Scarsdale 28, New Rochelle 7

    Game story: Scarsdale keeps New Rochelle guessing, improves to 4-0 with a 28-7 win

    Mount Vernon 37, Yonkers Force 6

    Ketcham 28, East Ramapo 0

    RCK: Calen Bieber capped a 70-yard opening march with a 2-yard TD run. He added a 3-yard scoring run in the second quarter. Jaden Turner added a 4-yard score in the third quarter and Dylan Fay tacked on a 50-yard scoring run in the fourth. Raheem Adebola and Gracen Perez each recorded a sack and Fay delivered a forced fumble and recovery. Nick Dimarco helped preserve the shutout with a fourth-down stop inside the 10 in the second half.

    Ossining 34, Yonkers Brave 26

    Oss: Amare Ibarre 101 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries. Jyquis Ramirez added 60 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. Thomas McCormack threw for 84 yards and ran for 46 yards and one touchdown. Matthew Cascione had seven tackles.

    Clarkstown North 35, White Plains 28

    CN: Jack Kavanagh picked up 174 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries and completed 6 of 9 passes for 115 yards and one TD. Eyal Gabai carried 9 times for 96 yards and a touchdown ad Sam Garcia picked up 47 yards on 10 carries. Jack Ferrera had three catches for 70 yards and Luke Kavountzis had a 7-yard touchdown reception.

    Rye 21, Clarkstown South 0

    R: Carson Miller opened the second half with an 83-yard touchdown pass to Henry Shoemaker, who added the PAT to make it a 14-0 lead. Chris Iuliano added a fourth-quarter TD run.

    CS: Thomas Ryan completed seven passes for 40 yards. Jayden Charles had 31 yards on nine carries. Jason Ardizone made 11 tackles, including two for a loss. Jake Teitel and Kyle Sperring added eight tackles apiece.

    Westlake 40, Edgemont/Blind Brook 0

    Pearl River 14, Nanuet 12

    Game story: Pearl River edges Nanuet for Little Brown Jug

    Somers 46, John Jay-CR 7

    So: Miguel Iglesias completed 5 of 8 passes for 83 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for a TD. The Tuskers were up 28-0 after the first quarter. Mason Kelly had 153 yards and one touchdown on nine carries. Jackson Whipple added 83 yards on 14 carries and Cameron Violante caught a pair of TD passes. Gavin Kelly connected on two field goals.

    Mahopac 34, Lakeland 0

    Brewster 14, Nyack 7

    Bw: Tre Ficarra scored on a 3-yard run early in the second half and Brewster knotted the score with the PAT. K.J. Dillion found Harrison Schmidt for a 7-yard TD with 2:30 to go in the game. Abe Sanchez recovered a botched long snap at the Bears' 32 with 44 seconds left, ending the RiverHawks comeback attempt. Brewster scored 14 unanswered points.

    Irvington 42, Croton 8

    Suffern 22, John Jay-EF 21

    Sf: The Mounties were down 21-14 when Jeph Joseph took a direct snap and squeezed into the end zone from 2 yards out with 45.7 seconds to play. Suffern went for two and Mason Palumbo hit Jeremiah Aguillard, who momentarily bobbled the ball and then pulled it close, ending a two-game losing streak. Joseph scored a pair of touchdowns and Palumbo hit Jake Tarrant for another.

    Rye Neck at Briarcliff/Hamilton, noon

    Stepinac at Chaminade, 1:30 p.m.
