Main Street Goliad director requests pay raise during city council meeting
Main Street Goliad Director Keli Miller has requested she be paid the $58,000 that was budgeted for her salary in 2023-24 City of Goliad budget. During the meeting on Aug. 27 of the city council, Miller, whose base salary is currently $53,456, said she deserved the $58,000 budgeted for her position by the Main Street Board of Directors and approved by the city council in 2023.
Autistic teen missing since June 4
An autistic teen with ties to Gonzales has been missing since June 4 and his family and law enforcement continue to search for his whereabouts. Ryland Lowe, 17, was last seen in Corpus Christi accompanied by a young woman named Kamryn Lynch in a white Chrysler 200. According to the Aransas County Sheriff’s Office, which is working the case, Lynch has mentioned that her mother may be involved in selling heroin.
