168 Seasons Restaurant, featuring cuisine from Hong Kong, is now open at 316 N Washington St. in Rockville (photos by @YaoFomo). The new restaurant has taken over the location that was previously home to Xi’An Gourmet/Hot Pot for approximately five years. Xi’An has been listed as “temporarily closed” on Google, but 168 Seasons signage recently went up and the restaurant held its soft opening last week.

WHEATON, Md. (7News) — A man is in custody after a stabbing near the Wheaton Metro Station left another man injured, according to Montgomery County police. WASHINGTON — A new scam has grown traction in the DC area. Scammers are now reportedly impersonating MPD officers via phone and email. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, scammers are replicating real government phone numbers to appear real. The group is targeting victims and telling them that an arrest warrant has been issued on their behalf for failure to appear in court or for jury duty.

BALTIMORE — It's not just hot, it's record-breaking hot here in Baltimore and across the whole state of Maryland. It's official as of 2:00 PM EDT, BWI has officially hit 100 degrees. This doesn't break the record for today, but it ties a heat record. As of today July 17, 2024, BWI has recorded four consecutive days at or above 100 degrees. On July 14, BWI recorded 101 degrees tying a record set back in 1954. On July 15, BWI recorded a high of 102 tying a record set back in 1995. On July 16, BWI recorded a high of 104 set back in 1988.
