Motorcyclist Killed in Collision in North Bethesda; Police Conducting Investigation
Montgomery County Police are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Old Georgetown Road on Saturday, July 13, 2024. According to police, “At approximately 5 p.m., 2nd District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the intersection of Old Georgetown Road and Nicholson Lane for the report of a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a van. The adult male operator of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The adult female driver of the van was uninjured and remained on scene.

Residents of a Prince George’s County neighborhood say trash piled up for weeks without pickup and their complaints about it were ignored. Several neighbors on Oak Glen Way in District Heights, Maryland, said the called 311 and emailed the county because their trash hadn’t been picked up since June 28.
