Kajiken “Brothless Ramen” Announces Soft Opening on July 13
Kajiken, located at 1701 Rockville Pike A7 in the Shoppes at Congressional Village, is set for a soft opening on Saturday, July 13. Kajiken offers mazesoba, or abura soba, which is a brothless ramen that allows you to choose your own flavor add-ons and sauce combinations. Customers can choose from classic ramen with a broth base, abura soba, and donburi, which is a small portion of meat of your choice served over a bowl of rice. You can go with traditional Japanese flavors or even carbonara for your ramen.

Per the news release: “Residents and visitors from far destinations annually make their way to the McKee-Beshers Wildlife Management Area a 2,000-acre tract in a mixture of woodlands, fields, wooded bottomland and managed wetland impoundments (green-tree reservoirs) that is located at 18600 River Road. The property shares a common boundary with the National Park Service Chesapeake and Ohio Canal to the south and borders Seneca Creek State Park on the east. There is no charge to visit the sunflower fields, but parking is limited.
